About the role#
As a Manufacturing Process Engineer Intern, you will support production lines and processing areas to improve efficiency. You will work to build long-term capability within our manufacturing systems, processes, and technician teams. This is a full-time, on-site internship for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Identify, prioritize, and eliminate operational losses and inefficiencies.
- Work with Line Structure Teams to execute process improvements.
- Analyze line performance metrics, including run rates, scrap rates, and both planned and unplanned downtime.
- Spot opportunities to improve safety and quality standards.
- Develop a project charter and scope for one to three specific actions aimed at reducing identified losses.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Process Engineering.
- A graduation date of August 2027 or later.
- Full-time availability from May 2027 through August 2027.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
