About the role#
The process development team at Ocean Spray Cranberries focuses on high-quality product manufacturing and the exploration of new technologies. As a Process Engineering Co-Op, you will support the development and improvement of food and beverage manufacturing processes. You will work alongside a team of engineers to design and execute scale-up strategies that bring product concepts to full-scale production.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and improvement of food and beverage manufacturing processes.
- Design and execute scale-up strategies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to execute collective project visions.
- Gain hands-on experience with mass and heat transfer.
- Perform work in the laboratory, scale-up plant, and production facilities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering, specifically in Chemical, Mechanical, or Food Engineering.
- Previous laboratory or work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge and a basic understanding of experimental design.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lakeville, Massachusetts, with opportunities to work at the pilot plant in Middleboro, Massachusetts.
- The term for this role is Summer 2027.
