About the role#
We are looking for a software engineering student to join our Data Engineering team for the Winter 2027 term. You will help provide data and analytics capabilities to our business. This position is full-time and operates in a hybrid format.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate within an Agile squad to build core data and analytics platforms, applications, and self-service capabilities.
- Develop data pipelines that integrate various sources to enable analytics in our Cloud environment.
- Work with data science partners and AWS service partners to deliver integration and delivery pipelines.
- Operate in a Shift-Left testing environment.
- Enhance the supportability of our services by creating documentation, monitoring and alert systems, and centralized logging.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with AWS services like S3, Lambda, and Glue.
- Familiarity with or an eagerness to learn Git, Bitbucket, and Python.
- Familiarity with or an eagerness to learn Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with or an eagerness to learn CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Artifactory.
- Familiarity with or an eagerness to learn SQL databases like Postgres.
- Familiarity with or an eagerness to learn Large Language Models and ML pipelines in AWS.
- Interest in microservice architectures.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity with or an eagerness to learn Agile methodologies like Kanban or Scrum.
