About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will join our engineering team for a 12-16 week term during Summer 2027. You will contribute to meaningful projects, ship code, and see your work run in production. We tailor projects to your specific skills and interests. You will work alongside a dedicated mentor who provides regular feedback and guidance throughout your time here. At the end of the internship, you will present your work to the entire engineering organization.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with your manager and mentor to define and spec your project.
- Develop, ship, and monitor your code in a production environment.
- Participate in team contributions that support our core financial platform.
- Attend intern events and engage with the broader engineering team.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Experience with Python, C/C++, or Java.
- Frontend experience using JavaScript, AngularJS, or React.
- Familiarity with object oriented programming, API development, and documentation.
- Experience with deployment and testing frameworks, plus AWS or other PaaS frameworks.
- Strong communication skills.
- A desire to improve consumer banking.

- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based in San Francisco, California, with remote-first flexibility.
