About the role#
As an IT Engineer Intern, you will join the engineering team for a 12-16 week program. You will work on meaningful projects and ship code that impacts our financial platform. We tailor projects to your specific skills and interests. You will work alongside a dedicated mentor who provides regular feedback and guidance.
What you'll do#
- Develop and ship a project from start to finish.
- Collaborate with your manager and mentor to define your project scope.
- Verify your work functions correctly in production.
- Monitor the deployment of your code.
- Present your final work to the engineering organization.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Experience with Python, C, C++, or Java.
- Frontend experience with WebApps, JavaScript, AngularJS, or React.
- Knowledge of object oriented programming.
- Familiarity with deployment and testing frameworks.
- Experience with API development and documentation.
- Familiarity with AWS or other PaaS frameworks.
- Strong communication skills.
- A desire to improve consumer banking.
