About the role#
The Strategic Vendor Management (SVM) team manages key partnerships across investment and operations. As a co-op, you will assist in developing and maintaining these relationships with strategic providers such as Bloomberg, S&P, Moody’s, and ICE. You will gain exposure to vendor management and investment operations while working alongside financial professionals across the firm.
What you'll do#
- Assist the team in maintaining collaborative relationships with strategic vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Interface with global investment management and project teams.
- Build and maintain the SVM Salesforce system.
- Identify and implement process improvements for reporting, contract renewals, and user outreach.
- Develop performance scorecards, vendor tracking reports, and relationship summaries.
- Evaluate vendor systems and participate in industry research.
- Centralize and document strategic provider artifacts and market intelligence.
- Document business processes and support shifting team priorities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate or graduate student.
- Academic focus in business, finance, economics, or accounting.
- Eligibility to work legally in the United States.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the co-op session.
- Strong interest in investments, finance, and trading or market data systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Salesforce, and data analysis tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and a collaborative, positive attitude.
