About the role#
STV is hiring a Buildings Intern for Summer 2027. This is a full-time, paid position based in either Philadelphia or Douglassville, Pennsylvania. You will work in a hybrid capacity, with at least 3 days per week in the office. We are looking for candidates who can commit to the internship for at least 3 months.
What you'll do#
- Assist senior engineers in preparing design calculations for buildings and other structures.
- Create structural and other drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Support the production of design reports and project documentation.
- Review shop drawings and construction submittals for compliance.
- Participate in site visits to gather information and support project implementation.
- Help coordinate project requirements, schedules, and deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
- Enrollment at an ABET-accredited university or NCEES equivalent.
- Practical experience with Revit and AutoCAD software.
- Working knowledge of design codes and standards.
