Stantec is seeking an Architecture Student for a 4 to 12-month internship term beginning in the Fall of 2026. Working within an innovative and design-oriented environment, you will collaborate with project teams under the guidance of Senior Designers and Architects to contribute to diverse building projects.
What you'll do#
- Interpret sketches, drawings, building codes, and programs.
- Support the project team in the development of design documentation.
- Assist in design development through sketches, physical and electronic models, diagrams, and massing studies.
- Utilize BIM technologies to develop three-dimensional models of buildings and their components.
- Conduct research on concepts, benchmarks, materials, typology, and precedents.
What you'll need#
- Currently working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
- Basic understanding of Revit, AutoCAD, and/or SketchUp as design tools.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to hand sketch and effectively communicate concepts and ideas.
- A portfolio of project work is required for review, provided in PDF format or via an online link.
