About the role#
As a Product Design Intern, you will contribute to products that help our customers succeed. You will work with Product Designers and Engineers to design and launch features for our platform. Your work will help clients plan, execute, and analyze their ad campaigns by providing a consistent and usable experience.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define user-centered design solutions.
- Assist in creating wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows.
- Work within existing design patterns while identifying ways to improve usability and aesthetics.
- Contribute to design auditing to ensure consistency with our design system.
- Participate in design reviews by sharing work and providing feedback to peers.
- Join team meetings and cross-functional collaboration sessions.
What you'll need#
- Previous experience designing digital products or software solutions through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
- A portfolio that shows your ability to understand user needs, explore ideas, and communicate your design process.
- Current enrollment in an HCI, User Experience, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar program at a post-secondary institution.
- Knowledge of industry tools, trends, and processes.
- A solid understanding of design thinking, usability principles, inclusive design, and visual design basics like layout, typography, and color.
