About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on the Growth and International Expansion team to help shape our understanding of global markets. This role is hybrid and based in San Francisco.
What you'll do#
- Design, program, and launch surveys for potential users in London and Tokyo to study travel behaviors, price sensitivity, and perceptions of autonomous vehicles.
- Analyze survey results and public datasets to find growth opportunities and market segments.
- Support quantitative analysis of user feedback from early engagement programs or simulations.
- Perform comparative analyses across London, Tokyo, and US markets to guide our localization strategies.
- Visualize and synthesize your findings into reports and presentations for partners in Product, Marketing, and Operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's or PhD program in Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, Marketing, Economics, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related quantitative field.
- A strong grasp of survey design, statistical analysis, and quantitative research methods.
- Proficiency in R, Python, or SQL to query and manipulate user-level observational data.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills to present data to stakeholders.
- Experience with cross-cultural survey research or international comparative analysis is preferred.
- Interest in global product localization and cultural differences.
- Experience analyzing large-scale public datasets or early-stage product engagement data.

- Compensation: $70 per hour for Master's students and $85 per hour for PhD students.
