About the role#
We are looking for a People Operations Intern to join our team for the Winter 2027 term. You will report to the Manager, People Operations & Global Mobility and provide administrative support across our Talent, People, and Office Operations functions. This role is for someone who enjoys detail-oriented work, as you will balance core coordination tasks with projects designed to improve our internal processes.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle, including interview scheduling, managing talent workflows in Greenhouse, and handling onboarding or offboarding in the HRIS.
- Monitor the People Operations and Global Mobility mailboxes, responding to employee questions and routing requests.
- Prepare standard employment documents and maintain digital files.
- Track company policy updates and assist with administrative tasks related to work authorizations.
- Perform data entry and conduct routine audits within the HRIS to ensure information accuracy.
- Execute system updates across our People Technology stack.
- Provide back-up for our Toronto Hub Office Coordinator, including managing WeWork access, office inventory, leadership room bookings, and virtual mailbox administration.
- Submit internal support tickets and assist with general administrative projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program, preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take meeting notes and draft step-by-step guides for team tasks.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including pivots and VLOOKUPs.
- Interest in AI tools, automated forms, and exploring how systems connect.
- High degree of personal integrity and respect for confidential employee information.
- Strong attention to detail for compliance-heavy tasks and data audits.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
