About the role#
SRF Consulting Group is seeking a Roadway Design Intern to join our Civil Design Group in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves working on highway and roadway projects. Interns work up to 40 hours per week during the summer, with the option for part-time hours during the school year. This position offers the potential for full-time employment upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Assist design teams with the development of layouts, plans, reports, studies, and contract documents.
- Work on various roadway and highway projects.
- Perform quantity calculations.
- Prepare project cost estimates.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university civil engineering undergraduate program.
- Sophomore or junior level standing.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to self-start and work independently.
