About the role#
SRF Consulting Group is seeking an intern for our Transportation Planning Group in Minneapolis. You will support transportation, community, and sustainability planning projects. Our team handles a wide range of work for public agencies, including safety plans, multimodal studies, policy development, and resiliency initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Help prepare materials for client-facing meetings and presentations.
- Participate in public outreach and engagement events.
- Conduct research and compile data to support ongoing project work.
- Assist in creating reports, memos, and final plans.
- Collaborate with team members to provide insights based on your research.
- Handle data entry, stakeholder coordination, and proposal preparation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a graduate or undergraduate program for planning, urban studies, or a related field.
- Undergraduate candidates must be at a junior or senior level.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- A willingness to learn across a variety of planning projects.
- Experience with GIS or graphic design is preferred.
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

- This position is based on-site in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
