About the role#
As a Construction Management Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by working with project teams from preconstruction through closeout. You will support successful project execution while helping maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.
What you'll do#
- Work with project teams to ensure work meets project requirements, schedules, and safety standards.
- Review plans and assist with submittals and RFIs.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare schedule updates.
- Manage site logistics and safety documentation.
- Prepare meeting notes.
- Support quality control efforts.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and inspectors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a construction management, civil engineering, or related program.
- Basic understanding of construction processes, drawings, and terminology.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both field and office teams.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a safety-minded approach.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Willingness to work in both office and field environments.
- Exposure to construction software is a plus.
