About the role#
As a Construction Management Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting project teams from preconstruction through closeout. You will help ensure that work meets project requirements, schedules, and safety standards while contributing to a productive jobsite.
What you'll do#
- Review project plans and specifications.
- Assist with submittals and RFIs.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and update schedules.
- Document meeting notes and maintain site logistics.
- Support quality control efforts and safety documentation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and inspectors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a construction management, civil engineering, or related program.
- A basic understanding of construction processes, drawings, and terminology.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both field and office teams.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a safety-minded approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Willingness to work in both office and field environments.
- Exposure to construction software is a plus.
