About the role#
As a Construction Intern, you will support project teams in executing construction activities. You will apply classroom knowledge to field and office tasks to gain hands-on experience in project delivery. You will work alongside project engineers, superintendents, and trade partners to help ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
What you'll do#
- Support project teams with daily field coordination and documentation of construction activities.
- Help project engineers review drawings, specifications, and submittals to identify scope and design requirements.
- Collect and organize data for project logs, daily reports, and safety records.
- Observe site operations to understand construction means, methods, and sequencing.
- Participate in project meetings and support the preparation of agendas, minutes, and follow-up items.
- Assist with procurement tracking and materials management.
- Collaborate with team members to promote the safety culture and continuous improvement mindset.
What you'll need#
- A High School Education, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Prior internship, co-op, or related experience in construction, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment or participating in project-based coursework is preferred.

- This role is based in Phoenix, Arizona.
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position.
- The term is rolling.
