About the role#
As a Construction Intern, you will support project teams in executing construction activities. This role focuses on planning, coordination, and documentation. You will apply your classroom knowledge to field and office tasks to gain hands-on experience in project delivery. You will work alongside project engineers, superintendents, and trade partners to help ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
What you'll do#
- Assist project teams with daily field coordination and documentation of construction activities.
- Support project engineers in reviewing drawings, specifications, and submittals to identify scope and design requirements.
- Collect and organize data for project logs, daily reports, and safety records.
- Observe site operations to understand construction means, methods, and sequencing.
- Participate in project meetings and support the preparation of agendas, minutes, and follow-up items.
- Assist with procurement tracking and materials management.
- Collaborate with team members to promote a safety culture and continuous improvement.
What you'll need#
- High School Education, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or Industrial Engineering.
- Prior internship, co-op, or related experience in construction, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment or participating in project-based coursework is preferred.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position with rolling terms.
