About the role#
As a Construction Management Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by working with project teams from preconstruction through project closeout. You will help ensure that all work meets project requirements, schedules, and safety standards. This role requires a willingness to work in both office and field environments.
What you'll do#
- Review project plans and assist with submittals and RFIs.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and conduct schedule updates.
- Draft meeting notes and manage site logistics.
- Support quality control efforts and maintain safety documentation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and inspectors to keep the jobsite organized and productive.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a construction management, civil engineering, or related program.
- Basic understanding of construction processes, drawings, and terminology.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to work effectively with field and office teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- A reliable, punctual, and safety-minded approach with a strong work ethic.
- Exposure to construction software is a plus.
