About the role#
As an Accounting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in financial operations within the construction industry. You will work alongside our accounting and project teams to support financial and administrative tasks. This role focuses on maintaining accurate, compliant, and efficient accounting processes for our projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with accounts payable processes and research invoice-related correspondence.
- Support payment requests for vendors and subcontractors.
- Maintain compliance documentation and help ensure accurate recordkeeping.
- Participate in project accounting reviews and month-end close activities.
- Reconcile project financial data across multiple projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- A basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication skills to work across different departments.
