About the role#
Halff is seeking a Civil Intern for our Dallas office during the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position where you will work on a variety of infrastructure projects.
What you'll do#
- Design civil engineering projects while working under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer.
- Perform drafting work using CAD software.
- Conduct calculations and technical analysis for design projects.
- Assist with the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents.
- Coordinate with team members including surveyors, architects, and contractors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program for Civil Engineering or an ABET accredited equivalent degree.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and work well within a team.
- Self-motivation and strong organizational skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Dallas, Texas.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
