About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in the Austin area. You will join our construction management team to gain hands-on experience in the civil engineering industry. Our program focuses on mentorship, professional development, and networking through structured activities.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members on ongoing projects.
- Receive direct mentorship from experienced BGE employees.
- Attend training sessions and events designed for your career growth.
- Participate in intern-specific activities alongside your daily work tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office software.
- Ability to learn and use industry-specific software tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
