About the role#
Halff is hiring an intern for the Energy team in Austin, Texas. This is a full-time, paid internship running from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
What you'll do#
- Work within a large team environment.
- Assist with the design of energy production, gathering, processing, treating, compression, and pipelines.
- Complete engineering design projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer.
- Perform schematic design work.
- Conduct calculations and analysis for design projects.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, or an ABET accredited equivalent.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people.
