About the role#
The Summer 2027 Commercial Banking Internship is a 10-week program designed to provide undergraduate students with an introduction to commercial banking operations, strategies, and career paths. Interns work alongside relationship managers, credit analysts, and team leaders to gain hands-on experience with financial solutions and industry insights. The program includes orientation, workshops, training sessions, and networking opportunities with peers and leadership.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market research and financial analysis to identify client needs and recommend banking solutions.
- Assist with financial spreads, due diligence on potential borrowers or guarantors, and loan document reviews.
- Collaborate with internal teams to contribute to real-time business initiatives.
- Support marketing activities to enhance client engagement and promote banking services.
- Participate in program-specific workshops, training sessions, and special projects.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field.
- A 3.4 GPA is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports.
