About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will join our summer program to gain hands-on experience in the aerospace and defense sector. You will work alongside industry experts to contribute to real-world projects and develop your technical skills. This role involves direct involvement in company objectives through mentoring and cross-functional workshops.
What you'll do#
- Participate in technical projects and contribute to team goals.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to support engineering decisions.
- Perform hands-on technical work assignments.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university or college program pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Status as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in college or technical school.
- Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
