About the role#
This internship offers a chance to gain hands-on experience in the aerospace and defense sector. As a Systems Security Engineering Intern, you will work alongside industry professionals to contribute to actual technical projects. The program includes mentorship, workshops, and direct involvement in company objectives during the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Perform hands-on technical work assignments to build practical skills.
- Contribute to team objectives by completing assigned project tasks.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
- Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting technical data to support engineering decisions.
- Attend planning meetings to understand project requirements, timelines, and team goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university or college program pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Status as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in college or technical school.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
