About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Software Engineering Internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in Southern Pines, North Carolina, gaining hands-on experience within the aerospace and defense industry. You will collaborate with industry experts on real projects, attend planning meetings, and receive mentorship throughout the program.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to technical projects and team objectives.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to support engineering decisions.
- Attend project meetings to understand requirements, timelines, and goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in a college or technical school.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
