About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Hagerstown, Maryland. You will work on-site with our teams, gaining hands-on experience in the aerospace and defense industry. This role focuses on supporting real-world projects, learning from industry experts, and developing your technical skills.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to technical projects and meet team objectives by completing assigned tasks.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to support engineering decisions.
- Attend planning meetings to learn about project requirements, timelines, and team goals.
- Perform hands-on technical work to build practical skills.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university or college program pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Status as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in college or technical school.
- Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
