About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will work under a local Associate-Owner while gaining exposure to the daily operations of a pharmacy. The role is designed to bridge the gap between academic studies and real-world practice.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality and ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Maintain a professional appearance so you are clearly identifiable to the public.
- Learn about the expanding responsibilities of a community pharmacist.
- Develop your knowledge of OTC products, drug therapy, disease state management, and patient counseling.
- Gain the skills required to manage a retail pharmacy environment.

- Current enrollment in a pharmacy degree program.

- Location: 9620 Mccowan Road, Markham, Ontario.
- Employment type: Part-time with flexible shifts.
- Pay range: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour.
