About the role#
This position offers pharmacy students practical experience within a community pharmacy setting. You will work under a local Associate-Owner while gaining exposure to the daily operations of a retail pharmacy. This role is designed to enhance your academic training through real-world application.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage pharmacy operations while ensuring all privacy and confidentiality requirements are met.
- Learn about the expanding roles of a community pharmacist.
- Develop skills in patient counseling, drug therapy, and disease state management.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other health care workers.

- Current enrollment as a pharmacy student.
- A commitment to maintaining customer confidentiality.
- Ability to work in a busy retail environment.
- Interest in providing a positive experience for pharmacy customers.

- Location: 115 Dundas Street North, Unit 1, Cambridge, ON.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time with flexible, rolling terms.
- Compensation: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour, depending on experience and location.
