About the role#
As a Pharmacist Intern at Kroger, you will work on-site to support our pharmacy operations. This is a full-time, paid position that offers a rolling term. You will assist our pharmacy team in delivering care to customers while gaining practical experience in a retail setting.
What you'll do#
- Accept and interpret oral and written prescriptions.
- Input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy computer system.
- Provide drug counseling to customers.
- Offer recommendations for over the counter medications.
- Administer immunizations under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a US school of pharmacy.
- A current, state-issued Pharmacy Intern license.
- The ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
