About the role#
This position offers pharmacy students practical experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will work under a local store owner while gaining exposure to the daily operations of a retail pharmacy. This role is designed to bridge the gap between academic studies and real world practice.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality and ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Maintain a professional appearance so you are clearly identifiable to the public.
- Develop your communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- Expand your knowledge of OTC products, drug therapy, and disease state management.
- Learn the operational skills required to manage a retail pharmacy.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently enrolled as a pharmacy student.

- Location: Haliburton, Ontario.
- Employment type: Part-time, on-site.
- Compensation: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour.
