About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will work in a locally owned store to support health and wellness services while gaining real world training to complement your academic studies. This role focuses on patient interaction and the daily operations of a community pharmacy.
What you'll do#
- Greet and acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality and consent to ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Maintain a professional presence and remain clearly identifiable to the public.
- Learn about the expanding responsibilities and roles of a community pharmacist.
- Develop skills in patient counseling, drug therapy, and disease state management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a pharmacy student.

- The ability to work flexible shifts.
