This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students in a community retail setting. You will work in a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store, gaining hands-on training to supplement your academic studies. The role focuses on patient interaction and the day-to-day operations of a pharmacy.
What you'll do#
- Greet and acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage pharmacy operations while maintaining a visible presence to the public.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including customer confidentiality and consent management.
- Learn about the expanding roles of the community pharmacist through real-world practice.
- Develop skills in patient counseling, disease state management, and drug therapy.
