About the role#
This is a part-time Pharmacy Intern position at a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart in Dundas, Ontario. You will gain practical experience in a community pharmacy setting to complement your academic studies. This role focuses on patient care, retail pharmacy management, and clinical knowledge.
What you'll do#
- Greet and assist all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage retail pharmacy operations and workflows.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and handle consent requirements.
- Practice patient communication and counseling skills.
- Develop your knowledge of over-the-counter products, disease state management, and drug therapy.
- Ensure you are clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
What you'll need#
- You must be a future pharmacist currently pursuing studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

- Compensation: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour.
