About the role#
We are hiring a Pharmacy Student or Assistant to join our team in Owen Sound. This is a part-time, on-site role with a rolling term. The pay range for this position is $16.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on your experience and location.
What you'll do#
- Greet patients and confirm the accuracy of prescription information.
- Enter patient care data into our systems.
- Handle third party adjudication as needed.
- Dispense prescription medications accurately.
- Manage pharmacy stock using inventory control systems.
- Assist customers with general OTC inquiries and refer them to the Pharmacist when necessary.
- Process customer prescription pick-ups.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication and computer data entry skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience in customer service.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset.
- Candidates aged 18 or older must complete a criminal background check.
