About the role#
As a Pharmacy Student at Safeway Pharmacy Marpole, you will receive training across all aspects of pharmacy operations. You will gain experience in administration, customer care, and professional services while working toward your goal of becoming a licensed Pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Perform professional pharmacy tasks suited to your education level.
- Handle prescription assembly, data entry, and filing.
- Process customer transactions and release prescriptions.
- Assist with compounding and pill pack assembly.
- Manage drug orders, including creation, receiving, and replenishing supplies.
- Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and organization.
- Promote pharmacy programs and answer phone inquiries.
- Implement and follow company standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Pharmacy program from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting.
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Above average written and oral communication skills.

- Compensation: CAD 22.50 to 27.00 per hour.
