About the role#
This part-time evening position provides pharmacy students with practical experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will gain exposure to the retail environment while learning the skills necessary to manage a pharmacy. The role is designed to support your academic training and prepare you for a career as a pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Provide practical support in a community pharmacy.
- Improve communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- Gain knowledge regarding OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Perform MEDSCHECK services under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
- Participate in the daily management of a retail pharmacy.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a student in a pharmacy program.
- You must be 18 years or older to undergo a criminal background check.
- An interest in providing a positive experience for pharmacy customers.

- Location: 200 Bullock Dr, Markham, ON.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Employment type: Part-time evening.
- Compensation: $18.60 to $19.55 per hour, governed by a collective bargaining agreement.
