About the role#
As a Pharmacy Student, you will gain hands-on experience in pharmacy operations, administration, and customer care. This role is designed to support your training as you work toward becoming a licensed Pharmacist. You will work on-site in a retail environment, contributing to daily pharmacy activities and professional services.
What you'll do#
- Perform professional pharmacy tasks appropriate to your education level.
- Handle prescription assembly, data entry, and filing.
- Process customer transactions and manage prescription intake and release.
- Support pharmacy operations through compounding, pill pack assembly, and drug order management.
- Maintain the pharmacy by ordering supplies, replenishing stock, and cleaning.
- Answer phones and promote all Profile programs to customers.
- Adhere to company standards and contribute to employee and customer engagement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Pharmacy program at a recognized institution.
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage strict deadlines.
- A self-directed approach to your work.
