About the role#
We are hiring a Pharmacy Student to join our team in Etobicoke. This is a part-time, on-site position. You will support our pharmacy operations by managing automation workflows, maintaining inventory, and preparing medication orders. This role is ideal for students currently enrolled in a pharmaceutical sciences program who are looking for practical experience.
What you'll do#
- Generate automation reports and manage workflows using Kroll software.
- Package medications into unit dose pouches and perform machine maintenance or troubleshooting.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory at pre-specified levels and place supply orders.
- Prepare for inventory counts and assist vendors on count days.
- Action drug recalls and secure alternative medications when necessary.
- Follow established workflows to prepare and label medication orders, blister packs, and mixtures for patients and nursing homes.
- Investigate and troubleshoot orders to ensure timely shipping.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in post-secondary education, specifically in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Experience with HealthWatch software and Long Term Care pharmacy settings.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team, solve problems, and make independent decisions.
- Physical ability to manoeuvre quickly and consistently for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Adaptability to support different departments as needed.

- Employment Type: Part-time.
- Compensation: $20.90 - $28.60 per hour.
