About the role#
This position offers pharmacy students practical training within a community pharmacy setting. You will gain hands-on experience in a retail environment, learning about the evolving role of the community pharmacist while preparing for your future career.
What you'll do#
- Greet and acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Ensure all privacy requirements and consent management protocols are followed.
- Provide a helpful experience for pharmacy customers.
- Develop your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, and drug therapy.
- Learn the skills required to manage a retail pharmacy.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a pharmacy program.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
- An interest in community pharmacy practice.
