About the role#
We are hiring a Pharmacy Student to join our team in Vancouver. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role with a rolling term. You will work within our pharmacy operations to support medication packaging and inventory management.
What you'll do#
- Generate automation reports using Kroll pharmacy management software.
- Package medications into unit dose pouches using our automation equipment.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on pharmacy machinery.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory at pre-specified minimum stock levels.
- Label medication and over-the-counter products.
- Prepare medication blister packs and mixtures.
- Follow established workflows to prepare packages for shipment to nursing homes.
- Assist with inventory counts and manage drug recalls.
What you'll need#
- Post-secondary education in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Experience with Kroll pharmacy management software.
- Previous pharmacy experience in a Long Term Care setting.
- Ability to manoeuvre quickly and consistently for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions in a team environment.
Location & details#
- Location: 310 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC.
- Pay: $20.90 to $28.60 per hour.
- Requirements: Candidates 18 years or older must complete a criminal background check.
