About the role#
This position offers practical training for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will work in a locally owned store while gaining experience in patient care and pharmacy operations. The role is designed to prepare students for success as future pharmacists.
What you'll do#
- Greet and assist all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality and consent to ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Learn about the evolving responsibilities of a community pharmacist.
- Develop your knowledge of over-the-counter products, drug therapy, and disease state management.
- Gain experience in retail pharmacy management and patient counseling.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a pharmacy program.
- Valid registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
- Interest in working within a retail or community pharmacy environment.

- Location: St. Thomas, Ontario.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, rolling term.
- Compensation: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour.
