About the role#
As a Pharmacy Student Intern at Albertsons Companies, you will gain hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting. What you'll do#
- Perform all duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or designated preceptor.
- Fill prescriptions while following all laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide advice and consultation to customers regarding drug therapy, health products, and prescription knowledge.
- Participate in clinical services, including patient counseling, immunizations, and disease state management.
- Help implement company initiatives to increase pharmacy profitability.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
- A valid state intern license, if required by the state of employment.
- The ability to work well with others as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in work priorities and schedules as business needs require.
