About the role#
This is a part-time Pharmacy Intern position at a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart in Milton, Ontario. You will gain practical experience in a community pharmacy setting, focusing on patient interaction, retail pharmacy management, and the expanding role of the community pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Greet and acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage daily retail pharmacy operations.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and ensure all privacy requirements and consent management protocols are met.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Develop skills in over-the-counter product knowledge, disease state management, and patient counseling.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a degree or education in pharmacy.
