About the role#
This is a full-time Pharmacy Intern position at a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store in Steinbach, Manitoba. You will work directly with an Associate-Owner while gaining practical experience in a community pharmacy setting. This role is designed to prepare future pharmacists for success by providing real-world training that complements your academic studies.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality, consent, and privacy requirements.
- Maintain a clear and professional presence for the public.
- Learn about the expanding responsibilities of a community pharmacist.
- Develop your communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- Gain knowledge in drug therapy, disease state management, and over-the-counter products.
- Build skills required to manage a retail pharmacy environment.
What you'll need#
- You are a future pharmacist currently pursuing your education.

- Location: 382 Main Street, Steinbach, Manitoba.
- Schedule: Full-time, day shifts.
- Pay: $21.00 to $27.50 per hour, depending on experience and location.
- Modality: On-site.
