About the role#
This position offers practical experience for future pharmacists within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store, gaining real-world training that complements your academic studies. The role focuses on the expanding responsibilities of the community pharmacist and prepares you for success in a retail environment.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Maintain privacy requirements, including customer confidentiality and consent management.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Build your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Improve your communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- Learn the operational skills required to manage a retail pharmacy.

- You must be currently pursuing pharmacy studies.
