About the role#
The Management and Sales Internship is a paid, 10-12-week summer program. It provides hands-on experience in retail store operations, sales, and management. You will gain insight into a career in outside sales by traveling with a Sales Representative and working directly with your management team. You will also collaborate with other interns on a project that addresses a real business challenge.
What you'll do#
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers in-store and over the phone.
- Maintain product displays and recommend items to customers.
- Assist with point-of-sale transactions, product preparation, and general store maintenance.
- Help with unloading deliveries, organizing stockrooms, and ensuring efficient inventory flow.
- Collaborate with fellow interns on a team-based project that addresses a real business challenge.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be enrolled in a college or university.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
- Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration and Marketing.
