About the role#
This HR Internship is a summer assignment based in Bowling Green, Kentucky. You will work directly with the local HR Manager to handle daily tasks and special projects. The program runs from May 24, 2027, to July 30, 2027. You will assist the team in achieving site goals while gaining exposure to core human resources functions.
What you'll do#
- Maintain personnel and training records.
- Assist with job postings and applicant tracking.
- Help coordinate new employee orientation programs.
- Provide administrative support and respond to employee inquiries.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and training materials.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, communications, and site events.
- Participate in early career development programming, including workshops and networking opportunities.
- Work on special projects as assigned by the HR Manager.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a college or university, specifically as a rising or current junior or senior.
- Pursuit of a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working in a team-oriented setting, such as extracurricular activities, military service, or previous jobs.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Previous Sherwin-Williams internship or co-op experience is a plus.
