About the role#
This internship is a summer-long assignment based at our Garland, Texas site. You will work directly with the HR Manager to support daily operations and specific projects. The role is designed to provide hands-on experience by assisting team members in achieving site goals.
What you'll do#
- Maintain personnel and training records.
- Assist with job postings and manage applicant tracking records.
- Help coordinate new employee orientation programs.
- Answer employee inquiries and provide administrative support to the HR team.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and training materials.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, communications, and site events.
- Participate in early career development programming, including workshops and networking opportunities.
- Complete special projects as assigned by the HR Manager.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university, specifically as a rising or current junior or senior.
- Pursuit of a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience using Microsoft Office products like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience in a team-oriented setting, such as extracurricular activities, military service, or prior work.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
