About the role#
The Engineering Co-op Program is a 15-week opportunity within the Engineering Department. You will work alongside site Engineering Managers to support daily operations and contribute to departmental initiatives. This role begins in May 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with equipment analysis and facility revisions.
- Support new installations.
- Develop drawings and specifications for equipment layouts.
- Investigate new plant engineering processes and techniques.
- Complete special projects as assigned by the Engineering Team.
- Deliver a final presentation to site, program, and division leadership at the end of the rotation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university, pursuing an Engineering degree with sophomore standing or higher.
- Major in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office products.
- At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role or supervising others.
- At least 1 year of work experience in manufacturing, distribution, or operations, or completion of a Sherwin-Williams Engineering Development Program.
- Previous experience in a team-oriented setting.
- Previous internship or Co-op experience in the Sherwin-Williams Global Supply Chain Division.
- Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities.
